Kids say rain rain please stay!

The kids slept in this morning and well, I mowed the wet grass in a light drizzle. The jungle is gone!!!! We got ready and ran a few errands. Leaving wal-mart we got drenched by the rain. The kids and I were running to the car. Madison and I had flip flops on, and you guessed it the slide right off. We laughed all the way to the car. When we got home they helped me unload the car and then disappeared. The next thing I saw all I could do was laugh. Of course I grabbed the camera and let them play. When the rain started getting really heavy I said OK that's enough lets go inside. We had a great day in the RAIN!!!! Video To come when youtude comes back up be watching!!!

RAIN RAIN GO AWAY!

Well my yard looks like a small jungle. I can't mow it is soooo wet. We have had soooo much rain it is crazy. I can not believe it is July in Texas and has been in the 70's. To wet for the convertible cruise. So it is postponed :(. Well I am working on packing and hopefully I will not forget anything. This trip is a much needed get away for our family. Things have been nonstop for the last couple of months. I will try to post while we are gone. Hope to see you all at Jason and Julie's wedding. Vacation At Last!!!

Well after many sleepless nights. Don't even ask LOL!!!! Lots of time searching the Internet. The destination I think is final. To Branson we go. We will leave Friday and have a condo all week. We plan on silver dollar city and several other events. But on July 4th will be the big one. Some awesome fireworks. The condo is on a lake it looks like. We will get some fishing and relaxing in also. We will leave from there and head to Jason and Julie's wedding. So we hope to see you all at the wedding!!!! I will take the laptop and if we have time we will update. I am sure I will update before we leave. We are planning a road trip Thursday in the convertibles, with a few couples. But for know I will leave you with a picture of a cutie we had lunch with today. YUMMMY!

The lights are on!!!!

After almost 24 hours of no electricity. It is now back on!!!! Thanks Pappy for letting us bum at your place. I do not know how people lived with out electricity :( We are truly blessed! I will post something more later. We are trying to work on a vacation for this summer. I let ya'll know the details when I do HAHA!

Happy Birthday Pappy!!!!

Hope you had a great day! We love you very much!!! We enjoyed a nice dinner at Pappy's. We girls cooked a lasgana and salad and picked up a chocolate cake from Luby's. Thanks Sis Pursel for the awesome brownie squares!!! The kids went swimming and wouldn't you know it the ice cream truck came around. Aunt Julie D. caved in and bought Cotton Candy for all of them!!! What a great summer evening.

We are at Texas Youth camp and both these girls got the Holy Ghost! Even Kelsey got a refilling of the Holy Ghost! She said it was better than the first time! We are so excited to share this post!!!

The New Ride!!!

Well today was the day! We drove to Yukon,OK and added a Harley to the Shahan Family. Pappy has fallen in love with his new bike. And the kids and Todd got to drool at it. The highlight of the day for me was we got to go to JAKES Ribs in Chickisha!!!! Just kidding We are all excited about the bike. Here are a few pics! I think we may nickname her VROSE! For all who remember Pappy's truck Rosie. This is a VROD Harley! But we will let Pappy make the final say!

Being Silly

Just want to say a special Thank you to the Cain family. They took the evangelist and his family out to eat after church. I think we decided they were from the Sahara and they had the cutest 4 little monkeys. What warm hospitality that Life Tabernacle has. And they even invited us out for dinner when we come back from camp. LOL we were just having fun and laughing! But on the serious side The evangelist was awesome!!!!! Make sure you check the sermons at lifetab.org . Look for The Passion of Christ by Bro. Todd Shahan. He was incredible!!!!

Wednesday Fun!!!

Well, another day of fun! We woke up to the a/c unit not working right :( That was not fun. But got the kids off to VBS and then the A/C guy came and fixed it all. We had a nice lunch and then played around the house. We got ready for church and had a wonderful service. But before church Wesley fell down and skinned up his knee and put a good knot on his head. Sis Rita checked him over and said he would be fine. So of course we had to take pictures of the booboo's. And then everyone had to show off

Picking Plums , The Juggler, and The Merry go Round!




Ok, well, we got a little behind on our updates. So here it goes. Friday Uncle Jeff got Kelsey and Wesley. They went to the lake and asked to go fishing again. I don't think Uncle Jeff does the fishing thing. Then Saturday He picked up the kids all 4 and took them to ChuckECheese!!!
Wow was that nice!!! We had to get ready for the open house. I think they had a fun time with him! Then on Monday we met up at the library to watch a juggler. That was really cool. I will post some pictures. Then we went swimming!
Today Tuesday we started VBS at 1st Presbyterian church. They had fun! I picked them up and took them to the playground and we had a picnic lunch with Todd. They really thought that was cool. We went swimming again and then parade of home shopping! I had several comments of wow your kids are so well behaved. I just said thanks! I claimed them as mine didn't want to explain who was who and why LOL! Then we swam again at Pappy's while uncle Todd put memory in the computer and we enjoyed strawberry cake I made. Even Kelsey asked for seconds. It was pretty good! Well, sorry so wordy, but we are having fun!!! Kids miss mom and dad but are doing great!

Thursday Events!!!

Well, we slept in and when the kids woke up they fixed breakfast. Yes, I said breakfast!!!! They came in and said Mommy aunt Julie breakfast is ready!!! Wow I went to the table and there it was! A bowl of fruit loops,a piece of toast with jelly, and a glass of oj. What a way to wake up! The kids watched a movie and we played a little. Then got ready to go to the make and take at the library! That was fun. They made little rocket ships. We then went home the kids played. Molly had fun at her class kelsey went with me. Then kelsey and I went to help out at the faith mission life tab dinner. It was fun! Kelsey really enjoyed it and asked if she could go back.
