Last but not least!

We left Thursday from San Antonio and went to Dallas. We met my family and went to Six Flags in Arlington. We got lucky and got tickets to the Micheal West, Jeremy Camp, and Toby Mac concert at six flags. We did a little shopping and then last but not least the most important part. Grammpa hid easter eggs in the hotel room and up and down the hallway! The kids thought this was soooo cool. Even the staff at the hotel loved it! This is something my dad would do year round I think. And you know what it really is fun. Even today Madison went and hid eggs in the back yard for her brother then he hid them for her. Who says you can't play with easter eggs all year long! Then we had one last stop on our way out of town......Chick fila..... oh how I wish we had one in WF. The kids wanted a picture of them on the cow. I thought it was cute so why not and out of town we rode!!!!

More Fun

and even around the river walk.
We really enjoyed our vacation.

Sea World

We spent 2 days at Sea World!
All the shows were great and the kids enjoyed everything.

We ran down to the port a few hours to take the kids to the ocean!
We collected sea shells and had a good time!

Church in a Day!

We left on Thursday and went to help build a church! We went to put in the sound and projector system but we helped with many other things along the way! It is so awesome to see the work of a team and a new building go up in 24 hours! Here are a few photos I caught along the way. This is Bro. Daryl McCoys church it is a daughter work of the Port Author church. It was hit by Rita 3 years ago and their building has not been able to be fixed it was so badly damaged. After all the long hours we enjoyed visiting with John and Brenda Elms and the Girls with diner and the services on Sunday. Then off to Spring Break in San Antonio.

Sis Brenda did not know what Scarlet was doing....... Until I pulled out the Camera! As soon as I got my video Sis. Brenda had her act like a little lady :) Sis. Carmen is known to do this on hotel beds because you know your not supposed to jump on your own bed! The girls are just dolls!

I must say Scarlet was soooo cute she had it figured out that we were from WF. She kept telling me she was gonna go home with me so she could see here MIMI and PAPA!!!! I know this makes you want to see them but I hope you enjoy it!

Keep Waiting

Sorry Sis Elms I am not intending to be so cruel. This hotel in San Antonio has very slow wireless and I can not get the pics and video to up load. I tried to leave it uploading all night and it would never go. Please forgive me! Hopefully the new hotel tomorrow in Dallas will be better. If not I will be home Saturday and will get it then.
We are having so much fun. We left last Thursday and drove to Beaumont and helped with Church in a day, in Nederland, Texas. We worked Fri. and Sat. On Sat night we enjoyed dinner with Pastor & Sis Elms of Beaumont. We attended service with them on Sunday and after a relaxing lunch headed out for San Antonio. On Monday we met up with Curtis and Julie and have enjoyed the week at Sea World, Fiesta Texas and downtown at the river walk. We tried to go to the ZOO but it was a mad house and we decided not this trip. Of course we stopped at a few Harley shops along the way. And if you are a Shahan you know we have ate at plenty of great resturants. You plan everything around the meals!!!! PF Changs, Salt Grass, Chick fila, Taco Cabana, Rudy's BBQ, and and awesome Itlaian place on the river walk are just a few of the places we have enjoyed. On Thursday we plan a return to Sea World and then head out for dallas after lunch. We will meet up with my family and go to Six Flags on Friday. Then head home. Yes I have taken lots of pictures and will post next week (when the internet is faster at home). Well if you can't tell we are having a blast and making WONDERFUL MEMORIES!

Spring Things!

Ok Spring is sooooo wonderful! It is full of new beginnings and and old things returning from the year before. My favorites of spring are many but here are my 4 most favorite.

No 1. Barefoot!

AMEN to going barefoot Joseph!!!! I hate wearing shoes they are off any time I can. I even have to sleep with one foot out from under the covers.

No 2. Flowers!

I love seeing all the color and the smell of fresh cut grass. I love watching to see if the bulbs we planted last year bloom again, and planting new flowers!

No 3. Summer break is near!

spring is coming so that means school is almost out!!!! Summer break is near and sleeping in is almost here!

Slacking!!!

Yes, I know I have been slacking! It has been very busy around here with revival, Girl scout cookie sales, and TAKS testing at school makes everyone crazy! I have a lot of great pictures on the camera. I will try to download them tomorrow or at the latest Monday! I promise I will get caught up!
