Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday to my beautiful niece Lauren who is now in double digits the big year 10!!!! I don't know that I like that it makes me older. We hope you have a wonderful day. Here are the Shahan clowns singing just for you!

dull moment?

Never at dinner with the Shahan's! Roxana this is just for you! I read your post after I had taken this picture of my child after church tonight at Parkway Grill. Madison drew a cute picture on my phone in the scribble application so I am sharing. They love etch a sketch and it is kinda like it. You get to shake it to erase when you are done. We never have a dull moment.

Dinner table

Fun at the dinner table. Tonight I cooked again! LOL That would be my 3rd meal this week I cooked. I only have 3 more IPhone meal deals to go LOL! Well back to the meal....we laughed and laughed and laughed! My sides still hurt! I cooked Italian meatballs and we had a nice salad. Todd and I started in a rendition of on top of old smoky all covered with cheese I lost my poor meatball. The kids laughed they had never heard this one before. The meal went very silly from there. They came up with all kinds of stuff. But the greatest part was they began talking about going door knocking tomorrow and church on Sunday and how to invite more people to church. I love living for God and that my kids are so excited about living for God. Of course then it got funny again. Todd thought Mason was threw eating (he wasn't) and he reached over and took his last meatball. Well that sent the kids into their own rendition of I lost my poor meatball. It kinda went like this.....
On top of my plate all covered in sauce
I lost my poor meatball to my daddy
he reached with his fingers and
plucked up my meatball
into his mouth and down to his belly
I lost my poor meatball never to see it again

They loved this one and we laughed so hard it was great! Making many memories and living for God! What could be better than that...... uhm.....nothing!

What Shazaam Means

What Shazaam means....I found an app today on the IPhone called Shazaam. It sounds just like Curtis and Todd. The Iphone can be placed next to the music and within seconds it will tell you the artist and track name. If you know Curt and Todd they are very good at this. I thought it was neat and had to share!

Its here in my hands

I got it and have been playing with it for the last couple hours! It is the IPhone 3G 8gb and it is really cool! I should be able to even blog from it. I sold my Palm TX on eBay and got $190 for it and I have to cook a few meals at home to pay for the difference HAHAHA! I guess I may be a little busy with my new toy the next few days LOL definitely won't be cooking to much LOL!

Coming!

It was in Dallas at 4 this morning supposed to see it by 3pm!!!!! At 9:36 it says it is in Wichita Falls and on a truck to be delivered!!! Can't you tell I am being soooooo patient :)

Dino Dig

I have no pictures because I did not go. Watch Joseph, Kassie, or Ashley's blogs hopefully they took a few. The kids said they had a blast! They even got to bring some rocks and fossils home. Its great that this group of kids had so much fun together. My kids only had one complaint and its really funny because as you can tell from previous post my kids are not very picky. Their one complaint was the mayonnaise Bro. Joseph packed a picnic for the kids and asked who wanted mayo or mustard on their sandwich. Well I guess it was miracle whip and not real MAYO like we use at home. They ate it but said next time they wanted to bring their own lunch. I just laughed but if that was the only thing that went wrong with 11 kids I think they had a great day!!! And I always tell my kids "You get what you get and we don;t throw a fit" Be thankful for what we have. Todd and I took advantage of no kids and went on a short Harley ride to get an ice cream. They kids have said its not fair we want ice cream all evening. Madison came up with a dozy she said " Its not fair there are other children in the world who had ice cream today" I wanted to roll in the floor laughing. I looked at her and said there are other children in the world who haven't even had the chance to have a sandwich with yucky MAYO on it today either. We all started laughing and I am sure their daddy will cave by nights end and go on an ice cream run.

Mason's new JOB

I don't know that I will be able to get a picture of this one, but he is so excited about his new job! The funniest part is he did not tell Todd and I about it until Bro. Holley told us. He said he didn't want to get in trouble for being on the platform... and we had not seen him yet, LOL.
I informed him if Bro. Holley asked you to do something you will not get in trouble. Your pastor would never ask you to do something that would get you in trouble. So now he is telling everyone his important job...even the lady at the grocery store that we don't know. But if Mason is excited about our church then shouldn't it make others excited to see kids that excited. God could use that excitement to draw someone to our church. When the Holley's came Bro. Holley preached a mission for Life Tab and everyone is getting so excited. The kids have been hearing this and that about different ministries for weeks. They both are ready to be so involved. Mason my little man, Who proudly states every time we get ready for church, that one day he is going to be a PASTOR! Mason has been asking mommy how can I be used at church...What can I do to help our Pastor??? I told him we would just pray about it and God would give him a special JOB! Well God never fails us and Mason says he has the best job anyone could ask for....PASTOR"S ASSISTANT...that's what he calls it. Every service when Bro. Holley comes in he sets his bible on the alter and it is Mason's responsibility to take it to the platform during greeting time. This is so Bro. Holley can go greet saints and visitors and not have to worry about his bible. You should see him beam with pride that he is helping HIS PASTOR! We always pray for God to use us and our children. And it is pure JOY to see God using your children in the house of the Lord! I love the excitement that is in the air. Todd and I have stayed up several nights until 1-2am just talking about THIS & THAT ideas for outreach. Its so hard to just shut things off when the Excitement is in the AIR! Life Tabernacle has always been a revival church and on fire.....Its just like a new wind is blowing and stirring up some of those Holy Ghost embers in the fire and they are coming alive in new ways!!!

1st Piano Recital

Todd found his old music books and gave them to Madison. She has been playing her Granny's keyboard all day. Thought you might enjoy her 1st recital she played for us! She says one day she wants her Granny's big piano so maybe she can practice all the time like Granny used to teach her. Madison is a lot like both her Grandmothers......I see them in her daily :) Enjoy!

Bloggers!!!!

Hey everybody go read about Haiden going to Nationals in Bible Quizzing!!!! He is such an awesome kid!! And he is hiding God's word in his heart. I am so proud of him and all the quizzers that work so hard. I know Sis. Christina will get onto me for this, but its my blog so who cares. Haiden needs about $700 to help them get to nationals! Lets all chip in and help him go it is going to the work of the Lord. $700 dollars is nothing for Life Tabernacle to raise so lets help Haiden get his money together! The Isom's are such and incredible family and they work so hard for the kingdom of God! I am proud to call them my friends!!! I hope she still loves me :) Go to Chris and Christina in my friends list and read about the quizzers. I promise God will grab you heart! Hope you all have a blessed day!
