On rest for a few

I am gonna rest a few more days. Then I will blog. Todd is working on helping me try to do a memorial blog of his mom. She was an awesome lady. Words can not express how much we will miss her. I will leave you with the most beautiful rainbow I have ever seen. My children say it was from granny. And you know what sometimes after the tears we do need to see a rainbow of promise for the future. We are all doing well. Just gonna take some adjusting. Thank You all for your prayers!

You have been very busy since I read your post last. Birthdays, Miedival Times, and of course everything else. Take some time to reflect and enjoy the rainbows when they come. Love you all and my prayers are with you and your family.

Rest, we understand. Yes, indeed, she was an awesome lady! I have not even a clue of how to begin our memorial tribute to her (I will get it posted soon though). I am glad y'all are doing well. Yes, it does take some adjusting and we will continue to keep the Shahan families in prayer. We need to get our children together so they can play. The boys have been asking if they can come play. I know school is almost out so maybe in a few weeks we can make some plans? Love you bunches!

Beautiful rainbow! I have no idea what you all may be going through right now, but the Lord does and I just continue to pray for him to meet all your needs and comfort you. I wish I could have known her more, but I knew her enough that every memory I have of her is positive! She always had a beautiful smile and we had so much fun in the signing classes she taught last year. Well I leave you with this, just think how great and comforting it is to know she was right with God and lived her life fully dedicated to the Lord. Oh, there is got to be so much comfort just in that alone! We love ya'll!

Beautiful rainbow....God's promise that He will not "put more on you than you can bear, without providing a way of escape". I am praying for you all. He is our comfort in times of the storm. Love you!

Is God's timing just perfect or what! What a great rainbow and a great lady. God is definitely a rewarder of those who deligently seek HIM. She was a great lady but she has left her legacy on her sons and daughters and grandchildren. Thanks for loving God the way she did.
We will see her again.
I love you and yours and I am here for you.

Ok, now I can comment on the rainbow. I agree with Madison and Mason, it was from granny. A promise of peace, what joy! Your pictures remind me of the first rainbow I saw after Travis was killed, it had purple in it. It was the most beautiful promise. (If you read about what purple symbolized in the Bible and the situation surrounding Travis's death you can see the connection of a "beautiful promise"). Thank you for sharing your beautiful rainbow, it made my day! Think how much sweeter heaven is now for all of us.
